Friday night we played in the backyard til bathtime, Sloan just LOVES being outside, thank goodness because we do too! And then, we had our dear friends Spencer and Emily over for food and fun! I made a delish, light whole wheat pasta, salad and served cantaloupe- it was a perfect Spring meal! After dinner we continued to have a few drinks and play "Covington-style" games. Specifically this night it was to get the bean-bag into the the corn hole board while it was standing up. Doesn't seem that hard, but it was. We probably each through 100 bags, I am not lying. Then finally, and thankfully, Spencer won!!!!! We proceeded to play another game (who can get three balls, 2 basketballs and 1 soccer ball to stay on the hamock) and Spencer won that too! Spencer was Winner, Winner!

On Saturday we just hung around the house in the morning and then we went to Felicia's Crawfish Boil- she is a dear friend who was our old next door neighbor. She has a crawfish boil every year. It was Sloan's first- she really wanted to hold one, probably not a good idea!

Then after the crawfish boil we headed to Eric's 30th birthday party at.... Adventure Landing?? Yes, Adventure Landing! We all played games, rode bumper boats, go-karts, putt-putt... you name it you could play it! It was a super lovely spring day to enjoy outside that is until Michael went out to his car to find out that someone had broken into it! AWESOME! Broke the window, scratched up the door and stole a lot of stuff, a lot....including my purse (please, no lectures about how my purse shouldnt have been in the car, thanks). So, needless to say our super fun Spring Day turned quickly into filing a police report, cancel credit cards, getting our locks on the house changed (they had our address and house key)... super awesome, will post update on insurance awesomeness later. Sorry, it has been awhile but really the rest of the weekend and early week were spent dealing with this stupid break-in! My lack of blogging was a fluke, I swear. I will be back soon. Very soon!
