Cold Day at the Zoo!

So, last Thursday Sloan and I went to the zoo with my Sister-in-Law , Carrie and my nephew Jack! A cold front had just come through, it was cold but manageable. But the BEST part is it was dead! No one was there, there were about 7 cars in the parking lot when I pulled up. So, my advice to you is if you think it might be too cold to go to the zoo, bundle up and go! Wearing an extra layer was 100% worth having the place basically to ourselves! Jack had never been to the Dallas Zoo so that was awesome. We had so much fun looking at all the animals! And, I think I will be hitting the zoo up all winter long!! :)

I am so glad that we are zoo members, we have arleady gotten our money's worth since joining! Sloan always has so much fun!  And, now that I know it is so less crowded on "cold" days we will be there a lot in the next few months!

Viney's still in her 20's...

It was Emily's (Viney's) birthday and we all headed to Barcadia to celebrate!!! She is a young buck in her twenties! ;) It was a lot of fun and would have been more fun if Michael was there but he had to work bright and early the next day so stayed home. Boo on always working. Anywho, we managed to have fun without him and Sara and I got picked by some 21 year olds for a game of Giant Jenga! We still got it! And they though we were 27 and 28! HOLLER! ;)

It was a fun night wish that I could have hung out longer but I didnt have mu chauffer there to take me home, Michael. :) Happy Birthday, Viney! We all love you!!! Even though you push my child off the table!

Halloween!!!

This year for Halloween we went to Whitney and Vaughns so the kids could go Trick-or-Treating together! It was a lot of fun! Charlotte was a Gnome, Carter was a T-Rex and Sloan was a Bee! They were all so cute and had a blast! But, I think Charlotte had the most fun of all, she was really getting in to it! After Trick-or-Treating we went back and had a delish dinner!

They are all so cute and we had such a good time! It is so great that they are all so close in age and have soo much fun playing with each other. It was a great Halloween!

Ladies Night

The Book Club ladies have been wanting to get together for a Slumber Party for awhile, yes we know how old we are. Anywho, we finally found a date that worked for everyone so we did it this last weekend! We met at Sara's and had an app and some champagne and then headed to Mi Cocina for some Mexican! It was so nice to go out to dinner with the girls and just talk, drink and laugh. During dinner The Texas Rangers were on and that is when they sealed the deal to head to the World Series!!! Go Rangers!  Anywho, we just headed back to the house for more drinks and Good Times! It was a nice night out and we had great company! Can't wait to do it again, SOON!
