Supper and Sangria, Shelby's 30!

I decided to have a small group of people over for my birthday. We normally have really big parties at our house and this year for my birthday I wanted to keep it a little bit more low key. So, I decided to have a dinner party. We had 20 friends over for dinner, 22 including us.(Yes, I know it is big for a dinner party) I was severing 'Supper and Sangria'. The menu included an herb rubbed Pork Roast, a spinach and orzo salad, a green salad with blueberries, walnuts and feta and Parmesan broiled tomatoes. I also served red and white sangria for refreshments. I had a long table set up out back with flowers, candles and name placements we had all our guests sit down around 8:00 and then we served dinner. After dinner we brought our dessert, it was a simple vanilla ice cream with Kahlua- simple and amazing.

Dinner was over around 9:00 but the party continued. I opened presents, was not expecting so many presents- what great friends! The night was filled with great conversations, fun games and a lot of laughter! So far 30 has proven to be pretty awesome!

Here is my table setting. Used green clothes with alternating blue, green, pink and yellow bamboo place mats as a table runner. For the flower arrangements I used mason jars with sunflowers, mums and greenery from the yard. With tons of votives on the table, it was beautiful at night!

We served red and white sangria! Delish!

We had assigned seating and I used matte card stock with letter stamps to vreate them. Simple, easy and cute!

So far 30 is amazing. I have already been carded twice, sweet. I hope the next 30 years are just as amazing and filled with even more laughter and love!!!
