Pumpkin Carving!

So we carved Sloanie's first pumpkin on Sunday! It was pretty awesome. At first she was into it, then she totally wasn't and then she got into it again. It was fun and I am looking forward to many years of carving pumpkins!

St. Jude's Charity Event

A few weeks ago our friend, Michael, invited us the a St. Jude's Charity Event, Dinner under the stars. It is a great event that, of course, benefits St. Jude's Hospital- a great cause, same organization that we donated the money from Ronnie's Softball Event earlier this year. Anywho, it was a lot of fun. It was on the field at Cowboys Stadium. They had field goals set up, and ball throwing. The guys were having a blast kicking field goals where the Cowboys play. It was open bar and the dinner was delish and was followed by a touching testimonial of a teenager who had cancer and how St. Jude's helped her. It was a great night with good friends!

It was a great night out! We are so thankfully that because of great friends and family to watch Sloan that even though we are parents we get to be social! And, donate a little, every penny counts! :)

Fall Fun at the Arboretum!!!

This week we went to The Dallas Arboretum with our friends Sara and Stella! We had so much fun. It is such a beautiful time of year there, there are pumpkins EVERYWHERE! It is such a kid wonderland. It was pretty warm the day we went, so we are looking to go back when the weather is a little bit cooler. There was a small petting zoo that Sloan enjoyed and she even got her face painted (can't believe she sat still). It was a super fun day and we cant wait to go back and play some more!

Birthday Parties!

So TX OU Weekend we had two parties to go to on Saturday. We had a 1st and a 30th! My friend Ashley's son, Brandt, was turning 1 and our friend beau was turning 30! Both parties were a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from the day!
