Halloween!!!

This year for Halloween we went to Whitney and Vaughns so the kids could go Trick-or-Treating together! It was a lot of fun! Charlotte was a Gnome, Carter was a T-Rex and Sloan was a Bee! They were all so cute and had a blast! But, I think Charlotte had the most fun of all, she was really getting in to it! After Trick-or-Treating we went back and had a delish dinner!

They are all so cute and we had such a good time! It is so great that they are all so close in age and have soo much fun playing with each other. It was a great Halloween!

Ladies Night

The Book Club ladies have been wanting to get together for a Slumber Party for awhile, yes we know how old we are. Anywho, we finally found a date that worked for everyone so we did it this last weekend! We met at Sara's and had an app and some champagne and then headed to Mi Cocina for some Mexican! It was so nice to go out to dinner with the girls and just talk, drink and laugh. During dinner The Texas Rangers were on and that is when they sealed the deal to head to the World Series!!! Go Rangers!  Anywho, we just headed back to the house for more drinks and Good Times! It was a nice night out and we had great company! Can't wait to do it again, SOON!

Pumpkin Carving!

So we carved Sloanie's first pumpkin on Sunday! It was pretty awesome. At first she was into it, then she totally wasn't and then she got into it again. It was fun and I am looking forward to many years of carving pumpkins!

St. Jude's Charity Event

A few weeks ago our friend, Michael, invited us the a St. Jude's Charity Event, Dinner under the stars. It is a great event that, of course, benefits St. Jude's Hospital- a great cause, same organization that we donated the money from Ronnie's Softball Event earlier this year. Anywho, it was a lot of fun. It was on the field at Cowboys Stadium. They had field goals set up, and ball throwing. The guys were having a blast kicking field goals where the Cowboys play. It was open bar and the dinner was delish and was followed by a touching testimonial of a teenager who had cancer and how St. Jude's helped her. It was a great night with good friends!

It was a great night out! We are so thankfully that because of great friends and family to watch Sloan that even though we are parents we get to be social! And, donate a little, every penny counts! :)
